Nice park. Lots of trailer parking. Ramps can be challenging because of tidal flow there. AND PEOPLE. not fun when it's crowded on weekends and even though there IS tons of trailer parking...that can run out on busy weekends.
A beautiful island to visit. I recommend the west side of the island to park your boat. The water is clear and the sand is endless. Always be safe and bring extra water, food, and two anchors. Do not let your boat drift away as you explore the island. In the event your boat does not start extra water and food will make your stranded island stay much more enjoyable.
Wo w! This island is So Beautiful. When we visited was a great time of the day. Late afternoon on a weekday. Not too many people. Lots of great seashells to pick up. The water is Very clear here. Can't wait to go back.
